North Coast has been established in 1992 selecting the import of high - quality food products from Italy in the widest possible scope as its strategic objective. Tuna preserves and olive oil were the first Italian products introduced into Polish market in 1993. The spectrum of offered products has been increased up to more than one thousand during more than ten years of activity.

Increasingly close cooperation was established with the new recipients in Ninetie, particularly with the networks of hypermarkets. Furthermore as a result of its dynamic growth, North Coast was able to open its first regional warehouse in Kraków. Therefore the new perspectives have been created for the reaching a greater number of smaller clients in south of Poland.
In 1998 the previous range of products has been extended by the import of fresh products; among others original Italian Mozarella cheese is imported to Polish market. Since 2004, also the frozen products are imported. Owing to strong bases for its growth, North Coast Ltd. has been transformed into North Coast Joint Stock Company in 2005.
